With a background spanning asset management, credit underwriting, and portfolio strategy across multifamily, retail, and mixed-use assets, Sam is responsible for overseeing day-to-day performance across Landmark's 16-property portfolio — including approximately 1,000 multifamily units and 200,000+ square feet of commercial space valued at over $210 million.
Prior to joining Landmark, Sam served as a Senior Asset Analyst at Oppidan Investment Company, where he assisted in leading strategy across a $350M+ portfolio and drove a $16M asset disposition that redeployed capital toward higher-yield development. His earlier career includes roles at MidCountry Bank, where he underwrote $42M+ in commercial credit facilities, and NorthMarq Capital, where he analyzed 200+ commercial and multifamily properties for national lenders.
Sam holds dual Bachelor of Science degrees in Finance and Economics from the University of Wisconsin–River Falls, graduating with a 3.5 GPA in 3½ years.
He partners closely with property managers, brokers, lenders, and ownership to align operational performance with long-term portfolio goals — with a focus on value creation, capital preservation, and sustainable NOI growth."
